Kay's Kitchen
An elderly person came into Kay’s Kitchen to receive a home cooked meal. Living on a fixed income with increasing medical bills began to take its toll. No longer able to provide what he needed to live, he relied on Kay’s Kitchen to eat hot nutritious meals.
Hunger does not need to be a concern today, but it is.
Far too many people are living in poverty, but because of you they are able to receive a balanced meal six days a week.
Will you provide two dollars to feed a person in need of a hot meal?
The need cannot be filled without you. Your tax-deductible gift will remain in Grant County, designated to feeding the hungry.
You can give a meaningful gift that will help change a person’s life, and you’ll be glad you did.
About Kay's Kitchen
Kay's Kitchen is the heart of St. Martin. It averages 136 meals per day. We provide free nutritious home cooked meals in a welcoming, clean, and respectful atmosphere. Thanks to the dedicated service of numerous volunteers, Kay's Kitchen served over 49,300 meals in 2009.
Kay's Kitchen holds a number of annual events. These include a traditional Thanksgiving dinner and a Christmas celebration for our families. We also collaborate with the community Thaanksgiving Dinner Organization to provide over 5,000 free Thanksgiving meals in Grant County, and the Christmas celebration offers a festive meal and gifts to those who may otherwise go without.
We realize the hot lunch we serve is sometimes the only meal our patrons will have that day.
